Caribbean publisher and children’s book author Mario Picayo has been added to the roster of participants in Dominica’s Nature Island Literary Festival and Book Fair to be held from the 10th to the 12th of August.
 

Author Mario Picayo was invited to read at the historic Stone Ridge Library in Stone Ridge, NY. Founded in 1909, the library now hosts a weekly bilingual (English/Spanish) reading program.

Caribbean author and New York resident Mario Picayo will (almost) follow the text of his popular and best-selling title A Caribbean Journey from A to Y (Read and Discover What Happened to the Z) as he travels from A (Anguilla and Antigua) to S (Saba, St. Thomas, St. John, St. Kitts, St. Vincent) on a month long trip through the islands.

Cuéntame un cuento/ Tell Me a Story was an event full of readings, food, and other activities that revolved around the art of storytelling.

Best Selling Caribbean Children’s Book author to visit Barbados for re-opening of National Library will talk to the public and present three copies of his book to the National Library, including a Special Edition courtesy of the First Lady of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
